Coronation Street fans think they have figured out the devastating secret Nina Lucas (played by Mollie Gallagher) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) are hiding on the ITV soap. Viewers didn't see what happened to the pair in the episode aired on Monday June 23, but it was clearly upsetting for them. The episode concluded on a dramatic note as they returned to Roy's Rolls, visibly shaken and in tears, clearly having just endured a highly distressing experience. They both agreed they couldn't return to the scene of whatever had occurred off-screen. A distraught Nina wailed: "We 100% cannot go back." Summer comforted her as she continued to bawl.
Fans took to social media to speculate what had affected the young women so badly with many believing it involved Amy Barlow. "I think something happened with Amy because she's not mentioned in spoilers for the rest of the week! Poor Amy!" one exclaimed. Another person concurred: "Oh yeah! Maybe they left her for dead?" This sentiment was echoed by another viewer who added: "I thought this as well." Meanwhile, a third chimed in: "Definitely more to come! But it could be to do with Amy."
The scenes came after a midsummer party thrown by Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) descended into chaos and saw many of the attendees trying LSD.
The guest list spiralled out of control after a text message went out inviting all and sundry and the house was overrun with party-goers including Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney), Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) and Nina and Summer.
Things took a dark turn when Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) gatecrashed bringing LSD with the intention of selling it.
Aadi confronted and removed him but he then ended up sharing the drugs with several partygoers.

However, young mum Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) picked up Aadi's cup by mistake not realising there were drugs in it which led to her hallucinating about her deceased abuser Joel Deering (Calum Lill).
Aadi went in search of her and tried to help her in her delusional state bringing her back to his home despite the fact she clearly needed medical attention.
Meanwhile Nina and Summer were enjoying themselves until Betsy's mother Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) arrived forcing them to make a hasty exit.
What happpened next wasn't shown on screen but it clearly had a deep impact on both girls leading to the final scene.
