Tom Bradby has been a familiar face on screens since 1993 when he worked as a correspondent for ITV Ireland before focusing on Asia from 1999-2001.

After returning to the UK, he became a Royal Correspondent and covered key events including Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee, as well as the deaths of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret.

As well as being an ITV veteran, Tom is close to the Royal Family and was one of two journalists selected by Prince Harry to discuss his 2023 memoir Spare.

The broadcaster also attended the Duke of Sussex's wedding to Meghan Markle and carried out the first official interview of Prince William and Kate Middleton after their engagement.

Away from screens, Tom is a married father of three who prefers to keep his family away from the limelight but offers viewers a unique insight into his personal life on social media.

Tom was born into a military family and was born in Malta where his father served in the Royal Navy.

The 57-year-old offered a rare insight and paid tribute to his late parents in 2017 sharing: "My father Dan was in the Navy and was an honourable man who strove to do the right thing.

"My mum, Sally, was a selfless force of nature. She died of cancer in 2012 aged 72 and my father was 83 when he died from a heart attack last year."

Alongside a successful career, Tom also has a long-lasting relationship with his wife jewellery designer, Claudia, who he married in 1994.

The couple share three children, Jack, Louisa and Sam whose ages and personal lives remain unknown to the public.

The family live a quiet life, residing in a charming country home estimated to be worth £1million in the rural village of Houghton in Hampshire.

Tom recently opened up about his past mental health issues and told RadioTimes: "I went from thinking I was OK to being in really significant crisis, very fast."

The TV star took a break from work in 2018 due to his insomnia and addiction to sleeping pills.

He thought he was having a heart attack as a result of his struggles with sleep which led to him being forced to take a break.
