The official movie, titled Michael, was set to release in cinemas on April 18, 2025.
However, Lionsgate has now delayed the official biopic by six months to now release on October 3, 2025.
The upcoming blockbuster stars the King of Pop's nephew, Jaafar Jackson, in the title role.
Meanwhile, he's joined in the cast by Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Miles Teller and Colman Domingo.
Director Antoine Fuqua also penned the script with John Logan, while Bohemian Rhapsody's Graham King is producing.
Back in July, Fuqua spoke on the film's progress and said: "Why I wanted to make it is, Michael. Michael was a big part of my life growing up, big influence on my career, an incredible artist - but he was a human being, and we're exploring that. I'm very excited about it."
The biopic is also set to include 30 songs, have a long run time and will address the child abuse allegations against the star during his life and after his death in 2009.
