A man has been moved to tears over a new mum's gesture when travelling on a long-haul flight with her .
In a viral clip, a passenger explained how he was seated behind a woman and her baby on a flight - and was expecting the journey to be uncomfortable due to the child's age.
However, much to his surprise, the mum gave him a 'goodie bag' before take-off, knowing flying with a newborn isn't ideal for the child, her or anyone else onboard the flight.
He said: "I want to cry. A mum and her newborn in front of me on the plane gave me this. She's already so busy and took the time to make these bags for everyone."
The zip-lock bag contains a selection of chocolates and sweets as well as a note that reads: "It's my first flight. I made a deal to be on my best behaviour - but I can't make any guarentees."
The note added: "I might cry if I get scared or if my ears start to hurt. Here are some treats to make your flight enjoyable! Thank you for being patient with us. Have a great flight."
The adorable clip has been shared on Good News Movement on Instagram - and has received a lot of positive reaction from understanding users.
One user commented: "As a new mum who just took her 10-week-old on a flight, there is so much anxiety about how your baby will react on a flight.
"Some people are so kind and understanding while others are so awful. Trust me, if that baby cries, we are way more uncomfortable than you (most likely mortified)."
Another user added: "I totally did this the first time I flew with my baby Twins, and ironically the woman behind us was still a complete brat but everyone else was great!! It's so stressful!! Mamas - you're doing great!"
A third user said: "Sweet but I wish we could all just agree that babies are allowed to exist in the world without apology."
One more user added: "Wow. This says everything about how our society treats mothers."
A final user commented: "I did that too when I travel with my kids. I stop giving that since my kids are three and four-years-old.
"Trust me, it was so stressful for the parents, but turned out that all passengers around us were so kind. They even offered me help in case I needed some."
