Celebrity Traitors star Paloma Faith was left gobsmacked after discovering her friend Alan Carr was one of the Traitors who killed her off the show.
The 44-year-old singer was the first contestant to be eliminated from the new series on Thursday (October 9), just a day after the game of deception returned to screens, leaving viewers guessing who among Alan, Cat Burns and Jonathon Ross would be the assassins.
The fatal act took place in broad daylight as Alan touched a "poisonous" flower before touching Paloma's face, effectively sealing her fate.
However, host Claudia Winkleman later revealed that the poison was slow-acting, which meant Paloma breathed a sigh of relief when she was still alive at breakfast.
But the star later attended her own funeral. After her exit, the hitmaker joined presenter Ed Gamble on The Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked podcast and discovered the Traitors' identities.
Before learning the fateful three names, she confessed: "I will be devastated if you tell me that Niko is a Traitor" and went on to explain that she was prepared to defend the YouTuber's innocence had she made it to the first Round Table.
Upon learning Jonathan is a Traitor, she exclaimed: "Jonathan! The geek! What a p****."
When Cat was revealed she said: "Oh my God. So, these people just killed me out of malice because I didn't suspect any of them," reports the Daily Record.
When Alan was unmasked as a Traitor, the singer had a four-word response to his betrayal, stating she hopes Alan and the Traitors "never call [her] again", adding: "And I mean that."
"I feel really even more betrayed now," the pop star continued. "I feel betrayed by Jonathan and Alan and actually Cat because she's on the same record label as me and she should have some loyalty."

Later in the interview, Paloma confessed her current feelings about Alan's brutal move. "If the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn't have done that," she said.
"I don't think he should have done it to me."
The reality stars have spoken since the "betrayal" and Paloma has forgiven her friend.
The Celebrity Traitors continues on BBC One next Wednesday (October 15) at 9pm
