Amid conspiracy theories that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio are eating pet cats, a report has emerged from Houston, Texas saying that several dead bodies of cats have been found in the city. Houston Police have reportedly launched an investigation into the matter after at least three mutilated dead bodies of cats were found within two weeks.A report on Houston-based NBC affiliate KPRC's 2 channel claims have emerged that the remains of the cats were left on the streets for people to discover while walking. The mutilated cat bodies have been found on the streets, of Houston's East End, reportedly sparking fear and disgust. Witness Jackson Heim described finding severed and dismembered cats, including a black cat cut in half, with no blood around the bodies and their internal organs still intact. The cats, all part of a community colony, were discovered over two weeks—three in total, with one being a calico named Stella. Heim finds it hard to believe these incidents are just random animal attacks, especially given that such occurrences haven’t been seen in 30 years."It's disgusting and frightening. My mom saw a black cat severed in half while walking her dog. Some cats were cut in half, others had their paws cleanly chopped off. We haven't found any blood around the bodies, and their internal organs are still intact," Heim said.
