Jammu: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) National President and Union Minister J P Nadda has called on party workers to prepare for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.Addressing party members at an executive meeting in Jammu, Nadda stressed upon BJP karyakartas to get ready for the elections to secure a victory for the BJP.This directive comes as the Election Commission of India (ECI) updates the electoral rolls in the Union Territory, setting the stage for assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir alongside other states.The meeting was attended by prominent leaders including Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Krishna Reddy, Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, BJP General Secretary Tarun Chugh, and other senior BJP officials. Over 2,000 senior party leaders and officials participated, with the agenda focusing on reviewing operations, election strategies, and planning future actions related to the elections.Nadda received a warm welcome upon his arrival in Jammu, celebrating the BJP’s third consecutive victory. He was greeted by the BJP's J&K president, Ravinder Raina.In his speech, Nadda stated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have rejected dynastic rule and have elected common people to power.Criticising the Congress party, Nadda pointed out that they have failed to cross the 100-seat mark in three consecutive elections, despite trying to project an image of victory. "Ulti Ganga Baha Rahe Hain," he remarked. He highlighted that the Congress party has zero seats in 13 states and has relied on the votes of others to win elections.
