Chennai: For Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 74th birthday, a 13-year-old girl set a new world by painting a portrait of PM Modi using 800 kgs of millet. The records-breaking artwork was completed in 12 hours.
World's largest millet painting
Presley Shekinah, a student of Vellammal School in Chennai, started this ambitious project to celebrate PM's bday. She started the painting at 8:30 am and finished at 8:30 pm. Her artwork, which spans 600 square feet, is now recognised as the World’s Largest Millet Painting.The daughter of Pratap Selvam and Sankeer, Presley’s achievement has been officially recognised by UNICO World Records. R. Sivaraman, Director of UNICO World Records, presented her with a certificate and a medal in honour of her remarkable accomplishment.The record-setting event was met with widespread acclaim from her school administration, principal, and family members, all of whom praised Presley for her dedication and creativity. Her effort not only showcases her artistic talent but also highlights a unique and sustainable use of millets, celebrating both her skills and the Prime Minister's contribution to the country.Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 74 on Tuesday.You may also like
