Sundar C And Vadivelu Reunite After 15 Years For Gangers

Director Sundar C and Vadivelu, are known as one of Tamil cinema's most successful duo who have collaborated on several films comedy films together. Some of them include Winner, Giri, Thalainagaram and London. The two have also shared screen space in the 2010 film Nagaram Marupakkam which was their last collaboration together. Now, the two are all set to reunite after 15 years, for Gangers.

Vadivelu and Sundar C unite for GangersThe news of their new film was announced on Vadivelu's birthday, September 12. The film's lead actors have appeared in the cover of the Tamil publication, Ananda Vikatan. Apart from Sundar C and Vadivelu, actress Catherine Tresa is also seen in the image.

The film Gangers is said to be a commercial film which has the right amount of humour. The film is produced by Benzz Media. The rest of the details of the cast and crew are yet to announced. He said "After the success of Aranmani 4, I had several new ideas, I have been thinking about my next film. Just because my previous film was a success, a director cannot take it for granted and sit idle. A director has to think 24 hours about his next move."

Sundar C's last film was the 2024 horror drama Aranmanai 4.Aranmanai 4, did done what other Tamil films could do for the Kollywood box office in early 2024! It broke the dry spell. No film was able to win at the Tamil Nadu box office, however, Aranmanai 4 turned the tables. It became the first Tamil film of 2024 to earn Rs 100 crore. Aranmanai 4, was produced by Khushbu Sundar under Avni Cinemax, the film features a star-studded cast including Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna, Sundar C, Ramachandra Raju, Santhosh Prathap, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh and Delhi Ganesh in key roles.
