The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2: Krushna Abhishek Wants THIS South Superstar As Guest Soon - Exclusive

The gang at The Great Indian Kapil Show, including Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek, are excited with the new tone of the Netflix comedy show for Season 2. So far, the casts of Jigra and Devara have stopped to chat about their films. Krushna, who mimicked Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan on the show last season, spoke about the South superstar who should make an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show in the future.

Krushna Abhishek on The Great Indian Kapil ShowIn an interview with Zoom, Krushna revealed that a great deal of preparation goes into each episode. The actors also sit down with the writers for the comedy scripts and they try and give their 100 per cent while performing. But sometimes, certain characters can be tricky. He revealed on season 1, "Donald Trump was a challenging character. Because of slang pakadna, humne kabhi kiya nahin tha. It was a prosthetic makeup, bahut time bhi lagta hai. So it was a challenging one, par humne cope up bhi kar diya."

The actor-comedian also shared that after British Grammy winner Ed Sheeran stopped by the show, they have begun thinking big name for their guests. After naming Sylvester Stallone as a dream guest, Krushna stated that he wanted this South superstar on the show, "People know Rajinikanth as the Rajinikanth. But how is he personally such a down-to-earth person? I met him. I've sat and had dinner with him. He's [like] a man next door, very humorous also [and] very warm. So, I think audience is not aware. They know their social media and their interactions. But I think he should come to the show. And I would want to perform with Rajnikanth sir, in front of him." Krushna will also be filming the Bollywood film Welcome To The Jungle with Akshay Kumar and of course, The Great Indian Kapil Show. He added, "I do a very lovely show called OMG Yeh Mera India on History TV. I love doing that show too. I travel, I meet people, I talk about India. Woh mujhe bada accha lagta hai. So, three shows, one film, no time." The Great Indian Kapil Show airs every Saturday on Netflix at 8 pm. Hosted by Kapil Sharma, it also features Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover and Rajiv Thakur.
