UP Schools Closed Today in THESE Districts Due to Incessant Rains

UP School Holiday is declared for September 12 and 13 due to adverse weather conditions. Considering the incessant rains, district administrations issued school closure orders last night. Accordingly, schools in Uttar Pradesh's Agra, Aligarh, Jhansi, Kannauj and Eta will remain closed today. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted rains across Central and Northwest India.Agra school holiday notice was issued late night by the DM Bhanu Chandra Goswami. As per the official orders, all schools from Nursery to class 12th will remain closed. The order is applicable to both government and private schools.

UP Schools Closed in THESE DistrictsDistrict administrations of Aligarh, Agra, Jhansi, Hathras, Eta and Kannauj have issued seperate school holiday orders. While schools in all other districts are closed on September 12, Hathras has announced holiday on both September 12 and 13. The orders are to be followed by both government and private schools.

In Kannauj, schools are closed for classes 1 to 8. In all other districts, the school holiday is declared for all classes. Students and parents are advised to contact the respective school administration for updates.In other districts where rain and waterlogging pertain, parents are advised to contact the school administration beforehand. Weather UpdateAccording to the IMD weather forecast, heavy rainfall will occur in West Uttar Pradesh and is expected to persist through early Saturday.IMD has issued an orange alert for East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and East Madhya Pradesh from September 11-13, while West Madhya Pradesh will be under a red warning on September 11, followed by an orange alert for the subsequent two days.
