NEW DELHI: A BJP leader and member of the Delhi Gurdwara Committee, Raman Jot Singh , has received a threat note from gangster Gogi Mann , police reported on Tuesday.
The police stated that Singh, aged 30, was informed about the threat by the sewadar of the gurdwara in JJ Colony, Pankha Road, located in Dwarka's Bindapur area. The note was found on Singh's SUV which was parked nearby.
The note read, "... koi security kaam nahi aayegi teri (no security will save you), Last Warning. Gogi Maan Group."
Earlier, Singh had been provided with a personal security officer, but the officer was withdrawn after a security review , according to the police.
Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from near the gurdwara to investigate further.
