City to bear brunt of hot, dry weather this wk

Kanpur: Kanpur Division will witness dry climatic conditions during this week as heat waves will flow from Thar desert Rajasthan.

Though there will be less chances of heat wave in Kanpur division and plains of Ganges till next week but the temperature can reach 43 degrees or beyond. The temperature can rise and hot conditions can develop during the day time.

According to weather scientist and expert of CSA university S N Sunil Pandey, the city recorded 39 degree temperature on Monday. Minimum temperature was recorded as 28 degree. According to the weather forecast received from India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of light to moderate clouds and strong winds and dust storms in the next five days. tnn
