UP man kills wife, 2 daughters, dies by suicide

KANPUR: A man allegedly killed his wife and two daughters before dying by suicide in Unnao’s Sahab Kheda village.

The devastating event took place in Sahab Kheda village, which falls under the Achalganj police station limits in Unnao. The discovery of four bodies caused widespread distress in the area. The deceased have been identified as Amit (35), his wife Geeta (30), and their daughters, aged 10 and 6.

Family members expressed uncertainty about the circumstances leading to the deaths. Local authorities at the Achalganj police station were notified of the incident.

According to superintendent of police Deepak Bhukar, initial inquiries suggest that Amit strangled his daughters and wife before taking his own life. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination and initiated legal proceedings while investigating all possible angles.
