Kanpur: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (UPMRC) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) last week signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi to enhance mobile connectivity for metro commuters while travelling through underground metro stations and tunnels.
UPMRC's In-Building Solution (IBS) infrastructure, available at underground metro stations and along tunnel corridors in the Lucknow, Kanpur and Agra Metro, as well as in all upcoming projects, will now be utilised by BSNL. This collaboration will strengthen mobile connectivity for metro passengers at UPMRC stations and tunnels. The partnership with BSNL aligns with UPMRC's vision of making metro travel not only efficient and safe but also digitally connected.TNN
