Ranchi: State govt on Monday informed Jharkhand High Court that a new jail manual will be notified within 30 days. AG Rajiv Ranjan informed the court that the new jail manual will soon be passed by the cabinet and notified by the govt. The High Court had sought information from the govt on information of a new jail manual in terms of a Supreme Court directive issued on January 17 this year with regards to changes to be made in the jail manuals of all the states.
