Send Push

Nagpur: The Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) supplementary exams for Class XII students to improve their performance in any one subject will be held in mid-July. The move aims to provide students with expanded opportunities to enhance their results without waiting an entire academic year.

CBSE, which follows a transparent system of evaluation, has outlined provisions for Class XII students who are not satisfied with their results. They can obtain a photocopy (scanned copy) of their answer books and request verification of marks, re-evaluation, or both. These services will be available only online and within a scheduled timeline. No offline requests or late applications will be accepted. A separate circular regarding the same will be issued soon.

The supplementary exam's eligibility for Class XII students has been defined clearly. Students who fail in one subject and fall under the compartment category can appear for the supplementary exam. Students who fail due to the replacement of the sixth or seventh subject can also write the failed subject. Additionally, students who have passed but want to improve their scores can appear for improvement in one subject.

The supplementary exams will be conducted in the first or second week of July and will follow the same syllabus used in the main examination.
