GDS Recruitment July 2024: India Post has published the third merit list for the Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) recruitment under the July 2024 online engagement schedule. This list excludes candidates from Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and 48 divisions, due to the Model Code of Conduct declared by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
How to Check and Download the List Online
To check and download the GDS merit list, candidates must follow these steps
Step 1: Visit the official website: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the “Results” section.
Step 3: Click on the relevant circle's merit list under the July 2024 schedule.
Step 4: The list will appear in PDF format, which can be downloaded for future reference.

The recruitment drive, which seeks to fill 44,228 vacancies across various circles, opened registration on July 15 and closed on August 5, 2024. Eligible candidates can now check if they have been shortlisted by accessing the official website: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The Indian Post has also released the first list of shortlisted candidates for Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir.
Candidates from excluded regions, such as Jharkhand and Maharashtra, will have to wait for the lifting of the election-related Model Code of Conduct before their results are published.
