Dalljiet Kaur had recently shared that she had moved to Pune and was starting afresh with her professional life. Apart from her travel vlogs, the actress even launched her new production house. In an exclusive conversation, the actress got candid about her new production house, upcoming projects and more.

Your production house is ready with a whole package of short films—tell us a little more about it

I’ve been writing for a long time and have had the opportunity to produce over eleven short films. Earlier, I had a production house called Ink Empire, where I collaborated with incredibly talented friends.

However, life took some unexpected turns on the personal front, and the production house had to be put on hold. But now, I’ve partnered with a dear friend, someone who not only shares my creative vision but also brings the right emotional and artistic sensibilities to the table.

We have launched a studio that reflects our belief in facing life and its challenges head-on, with courage and a smile. We’ve already curated a powerful lineup of content that we’re very proud of. While we’re currently taking baby steps, our hearts are in it fully, and we’re excited to build an authentic connection with our audience.

I was actively looking for a creative partner who shared the same drive, clarity, and emotional compass when it came to storytelling. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found that in Kunal. With shared passion and mutual respect, I believe we’re on the right path—and though we’re building slowly, we’re doing it with intention and heart. The vision is clear, and we’re here to stay.

When do we get to see you on screen post-Chitta?

You’ll be seeing me in several short films soon, and I’m also thrilled to be part of a mythological series, where I take on the role of the host and narrator. The show is very close to my heart—it’s about sharing timeless stories in the most engaging way possible.

What’s next on your plate?

Direction! It’s something I’ve always dreamt of pursuing, and this year, I’m diving into it full throttle. I’ll be directing several short films starting this very month. It’s both exciting and deeply personal for me.

How has 2025 been treating you so far?

It’s been intense in the best way. Getting everything aligned took time, effort, and a lot of emotional clarity. But once Kunal and I made our decisions, everything started falling into place rather quickly. It’s been a year of movement, momentum, and meaningful beginnings.
