Despite Nikola Jokic 's 44-point performance, the Oklahoma City Thunder took control of the series. Now, the Denver Nuggets' win in Game 6 has to stay alive, while the Oklahoma City Thunder aims to close it out and reach the Western Conference final.
Nikola Jokic thinks the Denver Nuggets have a chance to win the series
In game 5, Nikola Jokic was excellent. He secured 44 points, pulled 15 rebounds, made five assists and had two ball thefts. Covington connected at five points and was 17 by 25 in his other field attempts. Regardless of having more players, the Nuggets could not beat the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After Tuesday's game, Nikola Jokic told reporters, "We're not just giving them game 6. We will have our home supporters cheering for us. There was a close game in each contest except game 2. As a result, I believe we can win, so we will give everything we have.”
After the loss, Jamal Murray spoke about his thoughts as well. Murray talked to Pat Graham of The Associated Press and said he is keeping a good attitude.
