How to use picture-in-picture with Google Meet: A step-by-step guide

Picture-in-picture mode is a convenient feature that allows you to multitask while staying connected during your Google Meet sessions. By enabling this mode, you can continue to participate in your meeting while navigating other applications or browsing the web. T

In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to enable and use picture-in-picture mode with Google Meet.

Here’s how to use picture-in-picture with Google Meet
Step 1 - In your meeting, click More options at the bottom of your screen

Step 2 - Here, click Click Open picture-in-picture
Step 3 - At the bottom right of your screen, a small version of your meeting UI will be displayed
To move your picture-in-picture meeting UI, click at the top of the meeting UI and drag it across your screen.
To resize your picture-in-picture meeting UI, click and drag an edge.
Step 4 - Now, navigate to other tabs, windows, or applications as your picture-in-picture meeting UI moves with you

How to exit picture-in-picture mode in Google Meet
If not needed, you can exit the picture-in-picture mode. To exit picture-in-picture in a meeting, in the top right of the small Meet UI, click Back to tab .
When you exit picture-in-picture mode, you're brought back to your meeting tab, but are still in the meeting

Note: Do not maximize the screen of any other windows or applications while using this feature as it will hide the picture-in-picture mode.
