Indian High Commissioner to the UK Vikram Doraiswami , during an interview, highlighted Pakistan's state support for terrorism by presenting a viral photograph showing Pakistani Army officers attending the funeral of terrorists killed in Operation Sindoor .

The photograph shows UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Abdur Rauf , brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, leading funeral prayers for the slain terrorists, with Pakistani military personnel in attendance.

During an interview with Sky News anchor Yalda Hakim, Doraiswami pointed out, "This person here is a sanctioned terrorist under the American sanctions regime. His name is Hafiz Abdur Rauf...he's the brother of the founder of the terrorist group which you just mentioned."

He further emphasised the state's involvement, stating, "Look who is behind him (Rauf)? Pakistani military. Look at the coffins there...they have the Pakistani national flag. If you are giving terrorists state funerals, what does that make of your system?"

"I wonder what message this picture sends to all of you? This is a question that is worth asking. Giving terrorists state funerals may be a practice in Pakistan, it doesn't make sense to us," Misri said.

The same photograph was presented by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri during a press briefing in New Delhi. Misri questioned, "I wonder what message this picture sends to all of you? This is a question that is worth asking. Giving terrorists state funerals may be a practice in Pakistan, it doesn't make sense to us."

Indian armed forces conducted Operation Sindoor in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to avenge the Pahalgam terrorist attack and pre-empt future terrorist attacks on India. They targeted nine terrorist training camps linked to the Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen.
