'And that's why Putin's the boss': Trump rebukes former Russian President Medvedev; warns against treating 'N word casually'

US President Donald Trump on Monday raised eyebrows by claiming that former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev had suggested supplying nuclear warheads to Iran. He warned that the “N word” should not be used lightly, adding, “I guess that’s why Putin’s THE BOSS.”

"Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually throwing around the “N word” (Nuclear!), and saying that he and other Countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran? Did he really say that or, is it just a figment of my imagination? If he did say that, and, if confirmed, please let me know, IMMEDIATELY. The “N word” should not be treated so casually," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

"I guess that’s why Putin’s 'THE BOSS.' By the way, if anyone thinks our “hardware” was great over the weekend, far and away the strongest and best equipment we have, 20 years advanced over the pack, is our Nuclear Submarines. They are the most powerful and lethal weapons ever built, and just launched the 30 Tomahawks — All 30 hit their mark perfectly. So, in addition to our Great Fighter Pilots, thank you to the Captain and Crew!" he added.

This comes a day after Medvedev questioned the reasoning behind US strikes on Iran claiming that several countries were "ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads".

"What have the Americans accomplished with their nighttime strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran?" he asked.

"Critical infrastructure of the nuclear fuel cycle appears to have been unaffected or sustained only minor damage. The enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue. A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads," he said.

"Israel is under attack, explosions are rocking the country, and people are panicking. The US is now entangled in a new conflict, with prospects of a ground operation looming on the horizon," he added.

Meanwhile, Russian President Putin too condemned US strikes on Iran calling it "unprovoked aggression". “This is an absolutely unprovoked aggression against Iran, has no basis or justification,” Putin said.

“We have long-standing, good, and reliable relations with Iran. On our part, we are making efforts to help the Iranian people,” he added.

Meanwhile, Israel widened its military campaign against Iran by striking sites tied to the country’s embattled theocratic regime. Among the targets were the entrance of Tehran’s infamous Evin Prison—long known for detaining political dissidents—and the headquarters of Iran’s paramilitary forces involved in crushing recent domestic unrest.
