Tesla CEO Elon Musk sat with US President Donald Trump during Wednesday's Cabinet meeting, seen with his collection of hats—cycling through a DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) cap, a Gulf of America hat.
At the meeting, his hats caught everyone's attention as Musk kept wearing both simultaneously and at the end, ultimately stacking them atop one another.
Trump remarked, "I love the double hat by the way. He's the only one who can get away with it."
"I told you I wear a lot of hats. Even my hat has a hat," Musk responded.
Addressing the president, Musk stated, "The people voted for secure borders, safe cities, and sensible spending and that's what they've gotten. A tremendous amount has been accomplished in the first 100 days."
Trump indicated that Musk could remain with the administration "as long as he wants," whilst noting "at some point he wants to get back home to his cars," referencing Musk's position as Tesla, Inc.'s founder and CEO.
White House chief of staff Susie Wiles had previously confirmed that Musk no longer maintains a physical presence at the White House premises.
