Donald Trump has responded sharply to Vice President Kamala Harris ' recent interview on Fox News , describing her as the "worst vice president" in history who "can’t be allowed to do it again.".
"Great job by Bret Baier in his interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris. She has a massive and irredeemable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME," Trump said in a post on X.
Trump took the opportunity to highlight his own accomplishments while criticising Harris for her performance as Vice President. He claimed, “She is barely able to talk about any subject other than the man who had the best economy ever, the strongest border in history, and who just got the UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE US Border Patrol, ME!”
During the interview, Harris defended her candidacy, stating that her presidency would not be a continuation of Joe Biden 's administration. “My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden's presidency,” she asserted. Trump, however, dismissed her claims, suggesting that Harris can hardly discuss topics beyond him. He said, “She is barely able to talk about any subject other than the man who had the best economy ever,” referring to himself.

The Vice President faced tough questions on critical issues, including immigration, which prompted her to ask Baier, “May I finish responding?” Trump took the opportunity to criticise her performance, calling her the “WORST Vice President in history.” He added, “For the good of our Nation, her inferior cognitive ability must be tested at once!”
Despite the interview being a strategic move, Trump’s team condemned it, labelling it a “train wreck.” His spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, stated that Harris appeared “angry and defensive” and accused her of avoiding responsibility for current issues facing Americans.
This back-and-forth comes at a critical time in the election cycle, with both candidates vying for support in battleground states. Trump has also been actively engaging with voters, recently holding a town hall meeting where he addressed women’s issues, including IVF. He claimed, “I’m the father of IVF,” aiming to shift the narrative around his stance on reproductive rights, which have become a vulnerability for his campaign since the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn federal protections for abortion access.
