NF Railway Increases Permanent Coaches in Trains

Guwahati, July 3 (Udaipur Kiran) — To meet increasing demand and accommodate more passengers during train journeys, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to add additional general seating coaches to six existing trains. This initiative is expected to facilitate more travel capacity for passengers during the summer rush.

NFR’s Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Sabyasachi De, announced that train number 05636/05635 (Guwahati Shri Ganganagar Guwahati) Special will permanently include an additional four general seating coaches, departing from Guwahati station from July 3 and from Shri Ganganagar station from July 7. Similarly, train number 05952/05951 (New Tinsukia SMVT Bengaluru New Tinsukia) Special will permanently include an additional two general seating coaches, departing from New Tinsukia station from July 4 and from SMVT Bengaluru station from July 8.

Additionally, train number 15962/15961 (Dibrugarh Howrah Dibrugarh) will permanently add one general seating coach, departing from Dibrugarh from July 5 and from Howrah from July 6. Train number 15960/15959 (Dibrugarh Howrah Dibrugarh) will also permanently add one general seating coach, departing from Dibrugarh from July 5 and from Howrah from July 7.

In a similar move, train number 15626/15625 (Agartala Deoghar Agartala) will permanently add one general seating coach, departing from Agartala from July 6 and from Deoghar from July 8. Train number 05628/05627 (Agartala Guwahati Agartala) Special will permanently add one general seating coach, departing from Agartala from July 4 and from Guwahati from July 5.
