Noida: UP's industrial development minister, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, reviewed the proposed Master Plan 2041 for Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna authorities in Lucknow. The master plans have been approved by their respective boards and await govt approval.

"These regions are set to become the most developed in the country over the next 50 years, with seamless connectivity between them," said Nandi.

Officials said the Jewar Airport will spur regional growth, and the plan includes mixed-use developments for hotels, restaurants, and workspaces.

Shailendra Bhatia, OSD Yamuna Authority, informed the minister about the Authority's Master Plan 2041 proposal. "The plan now includes 226 villages with a total area of 769 square kilometres," he said. The Master Plan 2041 expands the airport and aviation hub area to 6,286.73 hectares and plans 98 sectors. New land-use categories for hospitality and industrial purposes have been introduced.

In Mathura, the UP Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad proposed development plans. Meanwhile, Noida's strategy focuses on developing 30 villages in Gautam Budh Nagar and 60 in Bulandshahr, with 40% industrial, 18% green, and 18% residential zones.

According to GNIDA officials, connectivity is a key priority and smooth transportation is the foundation of urban progress.
