Save Storage On Your Phone By Turning Off This WhatsApp Feature

Send Push
WhatsApp , the world's leading instant messaging application, often fills up phone storage with automatically saved photos and videos from chats. This can significantly impact device performance over time. Luckily, there's a simple solution to prevent this, requiring just a tweak in WhatsApp settings.

To stop photos and videos from cluttering your phone's storage, you can make adjustments in two ways: for all chats or specific ones.

Disabling Media Auto-Save for All Chats :

  • Open WhatsApp on your device.
  • Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and go to "Settings" > "Chats".
  • Locate "Media Visibility" in the "Chats" menu and toggle it off.

Disabling Media Auto-Save for Specific Chats:

  • Open the WhatsApp chat you wish to modify.
  • Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the chat screen and select "View Contact".
  • Disable the "Media Visibility" option.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage your device's storage and improve its overall performance while using WhatsApp.
