Commentary
  • That is all from this game and this series as well. Ireland and Scotland will be relatively happy with the series while Netherlands will look back and feel they could have done much better in the series. Thanks for joining us in the coverage. It's goodbye from our side.
  • George Dockrell wins the Player of the Match award and Mark Adair wins the Player of the Series award.
  • There was no doubt of victory for Netherlands but once Vikramjit Singh fell, Ireland sensed a way through to hang in there. First, the penultimate over from Barry McCarthy where he gave away just 8 runs and the final over from Craig Young where he had to defend close to 10. A superb performance from Ireland and how valuable was that knock from George Dockrell in the fag end earlier which helped Ireland get over 160. Ireland finish on top with three wins while Netherlands finish at the bottom with three losses.
  • What a fantastic game of cricket! Craig Young held his nerves while Netherlands for the third time have failed to chase down a target. This though was in their target. This was gettable and had to win but somehow Netherlands have bottled it up. Chasing a par total, Netherlands were off to a blistering start. The openers played well, Levitt fell but then Singh played a fine cameo. Scott Edwards too played his part but what Ireland did is they took wickets at regular times and of set-batters as well.
