WhatsApp tickets were started by Delhi Metro to reduce the crowd and provide great facilities to the passengers. In this, you can book metro tickets by going to WhatsApp, but before traveling, know that this facility is available only from 6 am to 9 pm. In such a situation, if you want to travel after 9 pm, then you will not be able to get tickets from WhatsApp. In such a situation, you will have to get tickets from the counter where cash is required. Also, you can get metro tickets from the vending machine.

What is the process of booking tickets through WhatsApp:-
Step 1

To book metro tickets through WhatsApp, first, you have to send a message 'Hi' to the metro's WhatsApp number 9650855800
Then you will be asked to choose the language, choose the language of your choice, it includes languages like Hindi, English


Step 2
After choosing the language, you will see that you have to click on the option of 'Buy Ticket'
After this, you have to choose the station from where you are starting your journey
Then you have to choose your destination station i.e. the station where you want to travel


Step 3
After choosing the station, you have to choose how many tickets you want
After this, you have to make online payments, like UPI etc.
Then a QR code comes on your WhatsApp which you can scan on the scanning machine installed at the entry gate and travel.
