The Hot Seat heat is real! In the September 13 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, contestant Naman Jain was cruising along smoothly sitting opposite host Amitabh Bachchan. Until, the Rs 3,20,000 question put the brakes on his winning streak. The question about the mighty Indian Navy left him stumped. Jain incorrectly answered the question and took home only Rs 10,000. Naman Jain is from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, who is preparing for his UPSC exams.

What was the question? So, what was the question that brought this well-prepared contestant to a halt? Here it is: In July 2024, which Indian warship was severely damaged after a fire on board? The options were:A) INS BeasB)INS BrahmaputraC) INS TalwarD) INS SahyadNaman, clearly caught between a rock and a hard place, used the lifeline video to call a friend and his younger brother, Arihant Jain. When Arihant was unable to give the right answer, Naman wondered to himself saying, "I think it is INS Talwar, as India has launched warships. I am getting confused about what the answer can be. I think Talwar was launched."Naman took a shot at the answer and chose Option D which was INS Sahyadri. But, unfortunately, he guessed wrong. He walked away with Rs 10,000 instead of doubling his winnings. Want to know the right answer? It was INS Brahmaputra. Would you have cracked this Navy nugget? Big B then gave a bit of trivia about INS Brahmaputra and said, "Jab aag lagi thi Mumbai Naval Dockyard mei INS Brahmaputra ke maintenance ka kaam chal raha tha, wahi par aag lag gayi."
